Hixson, Tenn. (March 2025) — Everlan of Hixson, a luxury retirement community, hosted their 4th annual ‘King and Queen of Hearts Night’, resulting in a $4,000 donation to Northside Neighborhood House, a Chattanooga non-profit. Each year, Everlan of Hixson opens its doors to the community, seeking to raise money for a local non-profit through ticket sales, business partner sponsorships and private donations.
Quickly becoming an event not to be missed, this year Everlan welcomed 200 people to the event, bringing in the largest crowd the community has seen yet. Residents of Everlan see it as a highlight of the year, inviting friends and family to join in on the fun. With two floors of gaming, including slot machines, card tables, roulette, bingo and a magician for entertainment, the fundraiser was filled with laughter, socializing, and delicious refreshments.
Everlan of Hixson chose Northside Neighborhood House as this year’s donation recipient as it is a non-profit very dear to two of their residents. Both residents volunteered there for over three decades and spent countless hours serving there. Having just celebrated 100 years of service in 2024, Northside Neighborhood House’s vision is to see “a thriving community working together to facilitate cross-generational stability, empowerment and elimination of barriers for our neighbors.”
“Our 4th annual ‘King and Queen of Hearts Night’ fundraiser was a tremendous success, bringing together our community to support Northside Neighborhood House in a fun and engaging way. The evening was filled with excitement, laughter and generosity, allowing us to raise much-needed funds to give back to our community,” said Frankie Parrott, Community Relations Manager of Everlan of Hixson. “We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered and contributed time in making this event a true reflection on the power of giving back. Together, we’re making a lasting impact in the lives of those who need it most,” Parrott continued.
